Hello, after the update this morning. I can not see my charts. my charts books are there but when i open them nothing is there - no charts. I have some chart books that load at open and these are working. nothing else Please help Thank you |

today, again there are no charts in any of the chart books that are not loaded automatically at open. this is becoming really frustrating. Yesterday after restarting the computer the charts were available. today is not working again. I am not sure what you need me to do here. please give me specific help. I mentioned in another thread that I would like help setting up interactive broker so maybe we can have a remote session o help with that as well as with helping me setup interactive broker link |

automatically, at open, I open five charts books 2 of them have like 25 charts and 2 has like 8. I am worried about this options as it will destroy my quick navigation to the charts books that I keep going back to.

OK first of all, understand that this is a Windows issue. You are running into problems and limitations with Windows and not Sierra Chart. How many of the charts are detached? Reduce the number of detached charts if any. Other than enabling this option: General Settings Window: Destroy Chart Windows when Hidden (Global Settings >> General Settings >> GUI >> Application GUI) We do not see how we can help with this. It is not something that we would help with with remote assistance other than enabling that option and attaching the detached charts. to make sure I understand, you are saying that I can't open more charts because of limitations on my windows or PC. everything used to work perfectly before I upgraded to latest SC and I think I have quite a decent PC. anyways, let me just think of another solution. would opening another instance of SC to have some of these charts help? |

The problem is with Windows and not your computer.everything used to work perfectly before I upgraded to latest SC and I think I have quite a decent PC. One thing we know is that newer versions are less likely to encounter this kind of problem. Not the opposite. So we don't know what to say about this. Since we do gradually make progress to reduce the number of windows that exist. There is going to be some further work out related to this, in a couple more weeks which will help further.. would opening another instance of SC to have some of these charts help? Possibly. You guys do a great job. I understand that something like this can happen. I want just to let you know I just added two extra chartbooks to my auto start and they started fine. when I tryied to start these after sierra charts loaded it didn't work. just consider that as you work on improvements. It did load them just fine with no problems now for another question , can I connect IB TWS for trading with my IQ data feed following the same instructions you have on your support website for IB? or this only works with SC datafeed? |

Unless you really need to use IQ Feed, for some reason, we really instead recommend using the Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed when using Interactive Brokers.
