AutoTrader | Sell Exit (Buy) | Signal ignored because current Alert Condition formula is TRUE | Cell: N3 | Bar start date-time: 2017-09-14 12:42:45 | 2017-10-21 18:13:35

When this happens, the cell is stuck on 1 and the trade never closes.
I have to manually close the trade in order to get the cell back to 0.

What is the cause and fix for this stuck on True condition?
This issue could be a trading account killer.

How are we supposed to answer this?

You wrote the formula and you know why it is returning 1. This is for you to resolve. It is impossible for us to help with this and formula programming as you should know is not within the scope of our support whatsoever.

Would assume you understand that the formula should return 0 when you want it to. And that is something you have to figure out based upon what the formula is.

What you may want to do, and we do not know whether this would help in your case or not, is set this Spreadsheet System for Trading study Input to Yes:

The getting stuck on True issue is random and does not happen in the same place on the chart or the same trade.

Spreadsheet System for Trading study Input to Yes, appears to be working.
I will have to go thru and make sure this change doesn't effect any other cell formulas.
