Hello, I am trying to test SC data feed but I cannot get connect to it. I have a trading account opened at Interactive Brokers. I followed the procedure Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed until point number 15, where I selected IB, entered live account detailed, then I followed points 16,17 and 18 and here I have a problem - I cannot get connected. Thank you very much for your answer. It looks like I have a different problem. After I followed the procedure you advised, I am able to connect to IB services with SC, because in the left upper corner I see a green colour and I get no warning messages. HOWEVER, I don't have any IB service subscribed for live data streaming and therefore I am not able to get historical data as of Tuesday 8.8.2017. This is the date when I paid for SC streaming services, which I want to test. How to do it? How to test SC streaming with IB account? I don't want IB live data, I want SC service (but I have IB account). I paid for SC software use, I paid for exchange service and I paid for SC data feed. Can you please help? Kind regards, Roman |

In the case of any of the CME symbols, you do not need to rely upon Interactive Brokers market data at all for historical or real-time data since you are using the Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed and have the CME Group exchange activated. Thank you! We are getting closer but still not there. I closed both IB and SC applications and re-opened first IB with Live account username and then I opened SC. I don't seem to have problems with connections, nor with the symbols. The chart book is updated with the charts until yesterday. Today "ticking" data is missing. What am I doing wrong that I am not getting real time, i.e. today's life data? Kind regards, Roman |
