I run SC on a laptop and on a PC. On both I use the same Chart Header settings but the Description is different (see attached file). I'd like to have the description with the "Contract Period". In both cases I use the same contract. Why is it different? |

It is different because in one instance Sierra Chart is connected to the CQG data feed and in the other it does not appear to be.

Both were connected to the CQG data feed. I solved the "problem" by myself. I copied the "Sierra3.cfg" from the PC to laptop and now I have the same description text (included period). There must be a setting that gives back the detailed descripions but I do not know what setting is responsible. |

We have no explanation as to why there would be a difference if both instances were connected to CQG. When connected, the description changes to what is provided by the data feed. It is clear what the difference is in this particular screenshot. The difference is that the Custom Title Bar Name field is not included in the "New" configuration file.
