DOMs not loading data, Please Advise

My DOMs are not loading again. I closed the chartbook and reopened it. Also I switched to a different symbol and some load, some don't. But ESH7 is not loading at all, my DOMs are blank. For the DOMs I Reloaded and Recalculated Data-- to no effect. I also Deleted All Data and Downloaded for the whole chartbook, and the DOMs remain blank. I am stuck. Looking to trade this morning. Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you |

The issue resolved itself. My chart settings were set to session time start 9:30 EST. At that exact time, the DOMs populated. I set the charts for 9:30 to confine my VbP study to RTHs. But usually the DOMs load fine with current RT data and then the volume only resets at 9:30. Today the DOM itself remained blank until 9:30

I still have the same issue here w/ 24H in session time. Tried SC v1500 and v1488, all blanks, all symbols. I use AMP/CQG. Chart DOM worked fine earlier in the morning w/ v1500. But could not compile c++ w/ v1500 (errors regarding SC header file). So I went back to v1488, I could compile c++ fine, but have no DOM. I switched back to v1500 again. Still have no DOM. |

You need to make sure that the Session Times spans the full 24 hours for a Trade DOM. We will explain later how to set the Volume Profile to be the day session only.Still have no DOM.

As we previously said, the Trade DOM Session Times will need to be set to the full 24 hours. A little glitch with the latest version of Sierra, at least for me: My trade windows are detached from my DOMs and when I try to use the drop down menus on the trade window, the menu list actually appears within my DOM, not within my Trade window.

Specifically what menu are you referring to? Are you referring to the menu that displays when you press the M button on the Trade Window? It's happening with any pulldown menu on the trade window. For example, take the attached image, notice the trade window bottom right, with my mouse pointer at the trade type pulldown where it says Limit Then look at the top left of the photo, that's where the actual dropdown menu is appearing. To make a change, I need to bring my mouse to top left menu.

This must be an operating system level problem. We have never seen anything like this before. We recommend restarting your computer. There is no ability for an application program to cause that kind of behavior. It can only be happening within Windows. Let us know if restarting the computer resolves this. No, unfortunately installing 1491 and restarting my computer a few times did not correct the issue. It did reset my DOM settings. I went back to version 1500 and will live with the menu quirks. They were not present prior to installing the latest version on 12-23.

If you are noticing the problem with earlier versions and did not previously, then certainly it is not a problem with Sierra Chart. And we do not see how it could be anyway. This must be some system issue. Possibly due to a video driver. We do not know. It is also not possible for Sierra Chart to do anything to trigger the problem.
