Hi

I have some confusion while ADDING credit for my existing a/c (Package 5). It looks like in last 6 months the page has been changed. Anyways-

1. There is an option of AVALIABLE SERVICES (Service Package to Auto-Renew) on https://www.sierrachart.com/usercp.php?page=SCUsageTimePayments
What is this for and why it’s showing by default Disabled? Do I have to change it or is it ok?
2. Earlier there was a direct option of choosing the number of months for renewal, for which the system used to automatically calculate the amount for payment. In the current setup, I don’t see that. It says "Specify USD Amount". If I want to renew it for 6 months, what should I put in? If I understand it correctly, is the present system also gives users to renew it for less than a month with a minimum recharge of 10 USD?
3. In Account Details section it’s written "Number Of Allowed Systems:  3"
Does it mean on present license, I can run SC on 3 systems? Is it simultaneously or 1 at a time? BTW when did this new feature came into existence? 6 months back when I renewed the a/c, it wasnt there!

Please clarify so that I can go ahead with 6 months of renewal.

Thanks!

All of this is explained here:
Sierra Chart Purchase and License Information: Renewing Access

You do need to activate a service package for renewal.

The cost is approximately 25 USD * 6 for 6 months.

3. Yes this is correct. This is simultaneous.

Thanks! Still couple of doubts.

1. I don't see discounts for opting to add higher credits i.e. instead of monthly, if I go for 6 months or 12 months in 1 go? Last time it was there. Doesnt the present payment system reward clients for adding higher credits. What difference does it make if I keep on adding 10 USD after every few days before the a/c gets expire or adding 150 USD in 1 go?! Atleast in former way I can earn interest from my savings bank a/c!
3). Why there is a difference in what you said about 25 USD * 6 for 6 months and whats writen over here Description of Service Packages and Pricing

Thanks!

1. There is only the long-term user discount now:
https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/Packages.php#LongTermUserDiscount

What difference does it make if I keep on adding 10 USD after every few days before the a/c gets expire or adding 150 USD in 1 go?!
The difference is that we are charged .35 to .50 per transaction and we have considered imposing a per transaction fee of .50 to 1 USD per transaction. And that may very well be done. So it is best not to do this as to not encourage us to impose the fee.

3. This is because you are receiving the long-term user discount.

Hi

Wrt above conversation and as per your suggestion, I did a payment of 150 USD on Date-Time: 2016-09-26 05:58:34 UTC (i.e. 25 USD * 6 = 150 USD)
So, the end usage date becomes somewhere around 26-28th March, 2017.
But I am getting a system notification message saying: Your service balance of 12.68 USD is too low to renew the services and I need a balance of 34 USD.

Kindly explain the disconnect because even after 28th February, 2017, I should have a balance of 25 USD!!!

Thank you!

We are checking on this for you and we will take care of this for you.

Most likely it is due to the recent billing and pricing changes we have worked on.
