Where do I find the above? I went to " C:\SierraChart\SierraChartTransActMA\AlertSounds " and did not find the above. I have my "Global Settings" "Alert / General 3" lock on "Alert 1" and there is no none setting. Thank you |

Been there. I am still locked into one sound for all of my alert conditions. Why? |

The documentation linked to explains how to set a different alert sound file (if available) for each Alert Number.

Maybe I am just too dumb to figure it out.

It is not completely clear what you want to do.

Correct. I have locked a sound file into global settings that will not allow me to modify other sounds.

You assign .wav files to Alert numbers in Global Settings >> General Settings >> Alerts/General3 tab. You assign alerts to Alert numbers in each study's Alerts tab (in most cases). |

This does not make sense. Here are the step-by-step instructions to change the particular alert sound for a particular Alert Number (#): https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/doc_GeneralSettings.html#AlertSoundSettings We have clarified them. I found the error. Windows error code: 0. Had to re-save the .wma files and convert them to .wav . Just changing the file extensions from .wma to .wav did not work. All fixed now. Thank you |
