1. We have a client whose Y axis isn't auto-centering as the values of the market visually increase to go above the current chart scale. So he has to manually constrict the axis to pull it down and therefore see the new lines drawn and their respective values. Is there a way to automate this so the chart auto-centers the Y axis in such instances?
2. In addition, does historical data load from the SierraCharts servers? Because one client e-mailed me that he is getting data as far back as March 19, 2014 on one instrument (he didn't specify which one, but his start/end time settings are 00:00 to 23:59 respectively). However, another user for the same instrument on the sama datafeed is getting data as far back as April 13, 2009, so significantly more. Could this discrepancy depend on any other settings in such case? Sierra Chart Support |

1. This is an indication that they have used the Interactive Scale Move feature to offset the default price scale position. They need to reset the scale by right clicking on the right side scale and selecting Reset Scale. For more information refer to: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/doc_Scaling.html#InteractiveScalingMoveUpDown 2. Yes the data is downloaded from Sierra Chart servers. If they want to get more historical data they need to use the Continuous Futures Contract chart feature: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/doc_ContinuousFuturesContractCharts.html They may also need to re-download the data: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/doc_ContinuousFuturesContractCharts.html#ReDownloading Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support.
