Did you refer to the documentation for the Countdown Timer study here?: http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/doc_TechnicalStudiesReference.html#s201 All of this is thoroughly explained in that documentation. As a matter of policy we will not repeat already well written documentation. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Other responses are from users. Display Continuous Time Countdown Based on Real-Time Clock: When this input is set to Yes and the chart bars are based on a time specific period (not Number of Trades, Volume, Range, Reversal, Renko or Delta Volume bars), then the Countdown Timer will display the remaining time for the bar up to the current second even if there is no trading activity. I have this setting checked as YES and my charts are based sole on "Days-Mins-Secs Per Bar" and I still don't get the 2 minute reset of the clock until it gets to 1:26 left on the countdown....... Is your computer's clock set accurately? Is the data feed being used providing accurately Time stamped trades? There is a dependency on both of these. Obviously one or both of these is not the case. So the responsibility to solve this is going to be on your side. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Other responses are from users. We have heard from your broker about this. Make sure at the top of the chart the current Date-Time of the last trade is displayed. The Date and Time fields need to be added through Global Settings >> Customize Chart Header: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/doc_GlobalSettingsMenu.html#CustomizeChartHeader Make sure those are clearly visible at the top of the chart. Maximize the chart window containing the Countdown Timer so it occupies all of the main Sierra Chart window. This chart must be attached and not detached. At the time you notice the Countdown Timer at a value that does not appear to be correct, select Edit >> Screen Images >> Send Desktop Image to Support. Let us know when that is done. Sometimes there is no countdown update until a trade timestamped, so it may skip OVER a few seconds

In their case that is not the problem. We determined their computers clock was off by 40 seconds.
