1.) For the trigger trail stops (TTS) in SIerraChart, is it possible to adjust the settings in terms of ticks instead or prices?
2.) When sending TTS and stop limit orders, do they have to be set separately or is it possible to do with one click? Sierra Chart Support |

1. Yes this is possible. We assume you are setting the Triggered Trailing Stops through the Attached Orders tab of the Trade Window. Refer to the documentation here: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/doc_AttachedOrders.html Specifically this is documented in this section here: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/doc_AttachedOrders.html#OffsetValues You can use Price, Ticks or Percent 2. Once these are set up as Attached Orders these will be sent all at once with the main parent order. The instructions here explain all of this: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/doc_AttachedOrders.html Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Hello, When I use "Send Attached Order by Price" from the right-click shortcut menu in Trade DOM, unfortunately I do not have a trade position for the symbol, instead I have "Trading Error": " A position must exist to determine Buy/Sell. Attached Orders not sent." How I can determine my position in right way? I wish to send two "Trigger Trial Stops" independently without a parent order and in an OCO.I do not wish to decide whether or the Attached Orders will be Buy or Sell. Best Regards G. Kremen |

My wish for Xmas is that when SC Max creates these user generated email support requests he uses the Subject Line to reflect the topic of the users email, rather than 'User Email'. The current situation tells me nothing when I skim down the support board looking to see if there are any posts that maybe of interest to me, or ones I could contribute to with my knowledge. Using a subject of 'User Email' forces me to open the thread to see what it is about. Thanks in anticipation. |

In response to post #3, follow the instructions here for this: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/doc_OrderTypes.html#SendAttachedOrdersTradeWindow You also must determine whether the orders are going to be Buy or Sell. Otherwise, this is an absolute impossibility and surely you must realize that. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Other responses are from users.
