Dear SC, As the title states, I am not able to split or merge my TPOs. When I click on the previous or current day profile to merge it merges a profile from a few sessions ago. I have downloaded the latest version but still have the same problem. My colleague also uses SC and his TPOs work fine so it seems to be just me. Any help would be great! |

The first thing we want you to do is to go to that chart and select Edit >>Delete All Data and Download to re-download the data. Right-click on the chart and select Reset TPO Chart. Try performing splitting and merging again. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Other responses are from users. I have already done this and anything else I can think of to try and reset the TPOs.

This does not really makes sense. We cannot even recall ever hearing about a problem like this. Attach the Chartbook here that contains the chart with the TPO Profile Chart study. Splitting and merging works perfectly in your Chartbook. And we would not have expected a problem with this anyway. We will need to create a video to demonstrate this. Go to that chart and select Chart >> Reload and Recalculate. Then go to Window >> Show/Hide Message Log to open the Message Log. Do you see any message displayed at the bottom which indicates out of order timestamps? Also your actions in the video are too quick for us to comprehend clearly. It would be best to demonstrate a single action that does not work properly and and do it slowly two or three times so that we can get a sense of what is happening. Once we determine the source of one of those problems, it will solve all of them. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Other responses are from users. Another question is are using multiple monitors? We wonder if there is some kind of screen coordinate problem.

Actually, after looking at this more closely, we are fairly convinced there is some problem with the mapping of screen coordinates which is specific to your hardware. We have never seen anything like this before. Give us a little time to look into this and think about it. However, please describe your hardware set up so that we have a better sense of what is actually going on. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. This is a highly unusual problem and we have not been able to reproduce it or have heard of it before. We did some checks of the code where we think there might have been a problem and could not identify anything wrong. We think it might be related to recent support added for using keyboard shortcuts for TPO splitting and merging. We made a couple of changes to that, that might help. We will be releasing version 1308 over the weekend and we will want you to try it to see if you still have the problem. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Dear Support, I think this has done the trick! I seem to be able to use the splitting and merging functions with no problems. If there are any more problems I will report it but otherwise I think you have solved the issue! Thank you very much for your time and co-operation, you guys are great and your charts are A+++ Best regards, Ryan |
