If you are using the New Spreadsheet version of SC, open the Fibs of Pivots v2b chartbook and the .scwbf will convert to .scss

The conversion worked properly for us.

The file is attached. It is marked private. Let us know if you can access it.

If you still have a problem with other spreadsheets, you will need to manually create a new Spreadsheet and copy the data and formulas over to the new Spreadsheet in the version of Sierra Chart that supports New Spreadsheets.

Unless you want us to do the conversion for you.

We have made the file public since the original file was public. Try downloading the file again. You need to first reload this page.

I have other files that are not converting, why is that the case I keep getting the same error message? I even tried a clean installation of Sierra and still the problem exists.

I am running version 1282

Does the computer you are using have .NET 4 installed on it?

I was not sure, I tried to install it and I get the message below

"Same or higher version of .NET Framework 4 has already been installed on this computer."

We are really not really sure why the exception is occurring. This is one of the reason why we dislike .NET and have discontinued support for a spreadsheet component which we have no control over.

We will add more logging to try to determine more precisely where the exception is occurring. But the problem is, we may not be able to resolve it anyway.

We recommend manually copying the formulas over from the Old Spreadsheets to a new spreadsheet in the version of Sierra Chart running New Spreadsheets. Or if you provide us files, we can do the conversion for you.

Unable to open C:\SierraChart\Data\Zones output.scwbf because the spreadsheet file conversion failed.
This spreadsheet is referencing Zones input.scwbf, which is another spreadsheet file, and this is not supported in the New Spreadsheets.

The Fibs of Pivots v2b.scwbf converts for me, but the formulas in row 2 (that display the fib values) are not currently supported in the New Spreadsheets.
New Spreadsheets row 2 will not accept a formula
