In my chartbook, I have a weekly ZBU5 chart that is showing incorrect data as though it has a bad data point. I change that chart with what looks like bad data to any other time frame, and it now shows the correct data. I've attempted to delete and reload data but to no avail. How can I fix this?
Thanks.

I just went through all of these steps, but it didn't help. I know it looks like bad data, but I don't believe that is the case because I can flip through different time frames and all others look fine. It makes me think there is something wrong with how the weekly data function is being calculated not the data itself. If you want, I can send you a screenshot with a daily and weekly side by side, and you will see what I am saying.

It is not bad data, the problem is that there is missing data. You can tell by looking at the time scale at the bottom.

Make sure you are running the current version of Sierra Chart. Update with Help >> Download Current Version.

And what procedure did you follow to re-download the data? There should be no problem with the re-downloading of data. You should be prompted to re-download data for each month and answer yes for each month starting with 2005.

I understand why you would think there is missing data. That is why I have re-downloaded the data, not once, but twice. My question to you is this....

Why can I take the weekly chart and toggle to a daily chart, a monthly chart, or any other time frame and the chart is fine? It is only when I select the weekly configuration that I get the convoluted chart.

And I am running the most current version of Sierra Chart.

There is missing data. That is very obvious. This is what the chart should look like:

What procedure did you use to re-download the data? Please briefly describe the steps.

Also you can see the missing data more clearly by enabling Chart >> Show Rollover Dates.

Re-loading the data does not work. I had someone from TransAct do a remote session and they tried also. However, I am in the process of completely rebuilding the chart in a new chartbook. For reasons I cannot explain, the issue seems to no longer exist. Hopefully you won't hear from me anymore on this topic. Thanks for all your help.

If you need remote assistance for something like this, it is important that we help you with it and no one else.

And re-downloading the data definitively would work. That we know with certainty. You are communicating with someone who developed this feature and we know exactly what the problem is and how everything should work.
