Hi support board,

I have read lot of threads about if Transact/Infinity feeds Sierra Chart Real-Time and Historical Exchange Data Feed or some other type of feed but I am still confused. Would you please help?
I am using Sierra - package 5 through Infinity futures broker, and my current data feed says "Service [trading]" because they provide me with data as well.
I am trading e-mini NQ, sometime I also watch ES.
The data service setup of my Sierra has also checked the option "Allow Support for Sierra Chart Data Feeds".
When I update symbol the instance only offers me "TransAct Trading" and is grayed out.

1) Since "Allow Support for Sierra Chart Data Feeds" is checked I was assuming I am using Sierra Chart Real-Time Data Feed.
2) Also this thread http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/SierraChartRealTimeFuturesStockDataFeed.php#Integration explains Sierra Chart Real-Time and Historical Exchange Data Feed is integrated with TransAct/Infinity Live account.
3) However when I read further, I don't have [M] indicator after the Symbol on the top line of the chart or Trade DOM like described on the same thread.

Would you please confirm if I am connected to Sierra Chart Real-Time and Historical Exchange Data Feed or Transact feed while using TransAct/Infinity Live account?
I am little bit confused because Integration with Trading Services thread says "This data feed is fully and seamlessly integrated with all supported Trading services" [including TransAct/Infinity Live account] but I still don't see a [M] indicator after the Symbol on the top line of the chart or Trade DOM.

Thank you

1. No not in this case unless you are paying for the Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed.
2. Only if you are paying for this data feed.
3. Yes, that is how you know.

No, this is not the case. You are using purely a TransAct data feed originating from their servers.

Whereas the Sierra Chart Real-time and historical Exchange Data Feed consists of servers hosted in a Barchart Equinix data center receiving the CME multicast feed and running Sierra Chart high-performance software. It is a very high-performance set up with zero packet loss.

Thank you for your prompt response. I would have one short follow up question to understand more on how two Sierra data feeds would work along with Infinity/Transact data feed.
I have little uncertainty about how all this setup works since you write in this post Notice: Prerequisite for Upcoming CME Real-Time Data Feed | Post: 13341 there is no need to run a second copy of Sierra Chart because of seamless integration Infinity/Transact Trading Services.
So basically I would trade based on Sierra data because I would visually follow the Sierra feed but Infinity would execute the trade based on what they currently have from Transact data feed right?
I do not understand for example what would happen if there is conflict in entry/exit price between these two data feeds, e.g. when one feed would shows 1 tick different from the other. On one site Sierra feed should be integrated (There is no need to run a second copy of Sierra Chart) and on the other site if I am not mistaken Infinity would execute order based on the other feed they receive from Transact.
Thank you in advance for explanation about this topic.

If you have activated the Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed for your account, you would be receiving this data feed, and your orders would be executed at the exchange. The data feed from any provider is completely irrelevant when it comes to trade execution which happens at the exchange.
