Ameritrade is the data provider.

Their charts are working fine...

If you are not receiving data from TD Ameritrade and you are using the correct symbol, then contact TD Ameritrade.

Otherwise, we recommend using the Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed:

We have tested TD Ameritrade now and we do not observe a problem.

Yes, it's no wonder that you're not experiencing the problem any longer as your response was 3 hours after my initial post..

They or you guys obviously resolved the issue in that time span.

How might we "communicate" in real time when such issues occur?

It could not have been anything we had done because Sierra Chart has no involvement with the real-time TD Ameritrade data feed.

The Support Board is the best real-time communication. And if there was an issue with the Sierra Chart data feed itself, we would have been on top of it very quickly. Within a matter of minutes.

A problem like what you are describing is not within our control and it would not necessarily help to deliver a faster response because we cannot directly solve the problem but only analyze it and give the best information we can about it.
