Hi,

In the past when I place or cancel orders on the DOM, it takes less than a second.
Now I takes around 2-3s.

Please advice.

There can be various external causes of this.

If there is a problem with your Sierra Chart configuration causing too high of a CPU load, refer to help topic 30:

Hi

I have referred to the help topic 30:
I don't think the delay on orders sent to the DOM and routed to the exchange got to do with these reasons.

FYI, there are no latencies on an intraday chart or anything else in SC.
It's only when I place/cancel orders on the DOM has a 2-3s delay, which is extremely frustrating.

This issue will most likely happen once in awhile when I update SC, then everything will be back to normal the next day.
I don't have this order placement issue for quite sometime, it only happened this week.

By the way, I have attached my PC Performance just for your reference.

I suspect it has something to do with the Rithmic Servers, your thoughts?

The problem must be some delay relating to the network connection between your computer and the Rithmic server.

We will check with Rithmic to see if there is a closer connect point for your location.

Hi,

Yes you are right.

I spoke to Rithmic and they said exactly the same thing.

By the way is it possible for SC to include "Rithmic 01 - Singapore" similar to what they had in R|trader?
Don't worry, I am an active trader and will not be using Rithmic solely as a datafeed.

Thanks.
