Dear collaborator, My computer crashed some days ago. In my new computer I have to reinstall Sierra charts all over again. But my technical skills fail to install the right settings. It is so complicated. Presently I only have a delayed data stream. Is there a possibility to have a teamview help to reinstall my settings real time? I hope you can help me. Looking forward to your positive help. Regards, Peter van Soest |

Dear support team, I have a broker called TradersOnly (the Netherlands) and is finally connected to Interactive Brokers. I want to activate the feed so that I have real time data for trading futures. As soon as I connect from Global settings to Data/Trade sevice settings, and click in the list Interactive brokers, it shows my account in TradersOnly. But after that it does not show the data. Instead it gives the following messages and continues with repeats of this message after that. I hope you will now see the problem and may give me the right instructions to solve it. Thanks in advance. Select Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings. Set the " Connection Details >> Server" setting to: 127.0.0.1:7496 Press OK. Select "File >> Connect to Data Feed". Dear support team. Unfortunately I could not solve my problems of enabling connection to real time data with the advice you gave me. Moreover in the server setting, enable relay server, listening port, the number 127.0.0.1:7496 you advised me is time after time automatically replaced by 127 after I come back again and connect to data feed did not work. I am using a 32 bit of Java in my TWS for the data feed and the computer is 64 bit. Is here may be a reason that may cause the problem? I hope you continue in other setting suggestions that may cause the problems. Otherwise team viewer really may help to solve the problem faster. Regards, P.L. van Soest |

Have a look at this image: https://www.sierrachart.com/images/IBServiceSettingsWindow.png Notice the red box and within the red box where it says "Server". Make sure it is set as shown: localhost:7496 Try connecting again by selecting File >> Connect to Data Feed. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. NO! Of course I tried it, but I knew better on beforehand. I must be connected there to my broker with my account U625900 for my P&L account and to get the data feed from. It has always worked like that. The suggestions you gave me so far go from bad to worse. Also the delay in the answering of the questions is very disappointing for a specialysed help desk and for simple questions for experts like starting up a station. Waaaauuw! I am still puzzled and I am looking forward to the right suggestion to get my station running again. For the second time I ask you here: Please log in in a teamviewer and we may be ready in 5 to 10 minutes. Thanks. Peter van Soest |
