Can't get Sierra data working after a W7 reload

I am using the latest TWS and Sierra Copy 1 is working fine on IB TWS. Sierra Copy 2 is using the Sierra datafeed and I get green connected if I have "SC Historical Data" in the Data/Trade Service Settings but not connected red if I have IB in the Settings. I'm not sure which I should have in Service field but green connected is not displaying the "M" and I have the wrong symbol list in spite of reloading the symbols.

If I use IB in settings then the message log says Socket (18) error. Windows error code 10061. Is TWS running and is it enabled for clients?

All I know is TWS is fine on Copy 1 and I used to be able to run Sierra Data without TWS running.

I have tried it with TWS running and closed down and changed between IB and Sierra in the Data service settings and I'm lost as none of them work but I can manage to get green connected.

Obviously I'm well confused and needing step by step help please.

On your 2nd copy, you will need to connect to IB.

Refer to Step #22 here:
https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/IB.php#SetupInstructions

If you want to access the Sierra Chart Real-Time and Historical Exchange Data Feed only on your 2nd copy of Sierra Chart, then on your 1st copy of Sierra Chart uncheck Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Allow Support for Sierra Chart Data Feeds.

What is the purpose of running two copies of Sierra Chart?

You need to only use one copy of Sierra Chart and have it connected to Interactive Brokers Trader Workstation and that copy will receive the Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed. Refer to this section here:

I thought two data feeds can't run on one copy so I needed a different copy for the Sierra datafeed and then trade on the IB copy.

Btw on point 7 there is a dot after the last digit but on the example given there is no dot after the 1. Does this dot make a difference to the connection? Is the first dot a period?

Ignore my question re. the dot as I have the datafeed working now. Will read Integration as suggested.

In my confusion trying to get the datafeed working I didn't explain why I have two copies. One is for futures and that data is IB & Barchart. The other Sierra copy is for cash FX and that data is from IB + FXCM.

I now realise I can use Sierra Data and trade on IB inside the same copy which is great, but unless I am mistaken I will need Copy 2 for the FXCM+IB feed.

Yes, this is correct.
