I am using the latest TWS and Sierra Copy 1 is working fine on IB TWS. Sierra Copy 2 is using the Sierra datafeed and I get green connected if I have "SC Historical Data" in the Data/Trade Service Settings but not connected red if I have IB in the Settings. I'm not sure which I should have in Service field but green connected is not displaying the "M" and I have the wrong symbol list in spite of reloading the symbols. If I use IB in settings then the message log says Socket (18) error. Windows error code 10061. Is TWS running and is it enabled for clients? All I know is TWS is fine on Copy 1 and I used to be able to run Sierra Data without TWS running. I have tried it with TWS running and closed down and changed between IB and Sierra in the Data service settings and I'm lost as none of them work but I can manage to get green connected. Obviously I'm well confused and needing step by step help please. |
