Sharing Your Spreadsheet Study With Another User
To share your Spreadsheet studies, follow the steps below:
- When you have your Spreadsheet Study ready, save it as a Study Collection. Go to the chart that contains the Spreadsheet study and select Analysis >> Studies.
- In the Save Studies as Study Collection >> Name box, type a name for the Study Collection.
- Press the Save All button. For complete details, refer to the Study Collections page.
- You can also share the Spreadsheet Study as a Chartbook. So in this case select File >> Save to save your Chartbook when it is currently open.
- You will then need to provide the Study Collection file or Chartbook file, and the Spreadsheet file to the other user. You can also send them to yourself to cause them to be installed to other instances of Sierra Chart. To do this, use the File Sharing feature. Make sure to send both the saved Study Collection file and the Spreadsheet file. You can also send the Chartbook file as well.
- You may also want to provide a link to the Applying a Study Collection to a Chart documentation page for the steps to save and use your Spreadsheet Study assuming you provided the Study Collection to them.
