Is this occurring every time?

Try starting Sierra Chart in "Safe Mode". Refer to the following:
Sierra Chart - Software Login Instructions: Using Safe Mode

When in Safe Mode your chartbooks will not open automatically. First, see if you have a problem when the connection is made - this would be very surprising to us, but let us know.

Then open your chartbooks one-by-one and see if there is a particular chartbook that causes an issue. If you have a particular chartbook that causes a problem, then you can try to recover the chartbook from a backup by finding a backup that does not have the issue. Refer to the following:
Chartbooks (Workspaces): Accessing a Backup Chartbook File

If your chartbooks open without an issue while in Safe Mode, then the most likely issue is that you have a custom study that is causing an issue. In Safe Mode custom studies are not allowed to run. You would then need to figure out which study and/or chart by opening chartbooks one-by-one and going through the process of elimination. Once you find the issue, then if this is a study from a third party then you need to ask the developer of the study why you are having an issue.
