I have a volume by price study on my DOM. However, they are not resetting at session start and end times. For example, I would like the VbP study to start fresh at the RTH session. However, for some reason I can't seem to figure out how to get them to reset. The session time is also wrong and showing me prices that have been traded previous days instead of the current day that I want to have the data for. I have adjusted everything from session times to making the Volume Graph Period Type to One Period at End of Fixed time Length and be sure the time length is set to 1 day but still nothing. (tried for 2 hours) Is it even possible to have this feature work on this platform? |

You would want to use a "Volume Graph Period Type" of one of these types: - From Session Start Time to End Volume By Price Study: From Session Start Time to End - Trading Day Start Time to End - Reset at Day Session Volume By Price Study: Trading Day Start Time to End - Reset at Day Session For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

Hi, I’ve already tested multiple session time configurations, toggled between “Fixed Time” and “From Session Start Time to End,” reloaded and recalculated charts, and confirmed this issue only exists when using Volume by Price on the DOM column — the chart-based study works as expected. If the DOM does in fact support session-specific volume profiles with fixed time periods (e.g., per RTH session), please provide a working example or setup. Otherwise, I’d recommend clarifying this limitation in your documentation or feature descriptions, as it’s misleading to imply the same flexibility applies to DOM columns. After spending hours trying to troubleshoot this under the assumption that DOM and chart behavior were consistent, it’s disappointing to find that may not be the case. Thanks. Refer to the second paragraph in this section: Volume By Price Study: Volume Graph Period Type For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
