🔧 Entry Optimizer 🔧 Hello Sierra Chart community, I’m excited to share a custom study I’ve developed — Entry Optimizer — designed specifically for traders looking to evaluate and optimize entry signals using real trade data and statistical performance analysis directly within Sierra Chart. 🔍 What it Does: This study simulates trades based on user-defined long/short signals and provides a full breakdown of performance metrics over variable hold durations (e.g., 1–30 bars). It is ideal for forward testing and refining trade entries. 🧠 Key Features: ✅ Signal Integration Works with any custom long and short signal studies — just link your subgraphs. 🕹️ Customizable Entry Logic Choose to enter at the Signal Bar Close, Next Bar Open, Next Bar Close, or Mid Price. You can also set a bar offset for delayed entries. ⏰ Trade Window Filtering Limit trades to a specific session time window (e.g., 9:30 AM to 2:00 PM) to reflect realistic trading hours. 📊 Statistical Breakdown (per hold duration) Win % Average MFE (Max Favorable Excursion) Average MAE (Max Adverse Excursion) Cumulative PnL Risk:Reward ratio View this breakdown for each duration from 1 to N bars. 📈 Equity Curve Visualization The tool includes a dynamic Windows GUI window that shows an equity curve with hover-tooltips for each trade. Supports filtering by Longs, Shorts, or Combined trades. 💵 Units in Ticks / Points / Dollars All metrics can be displayed in your preferred unit of measurement. 📁 CSV Export Trade-level data can be exported for any hold duration, allowing for external analysis or journaling. here is the best part, its within Sierra but it pops out as its own window...no need for external software. I am working on a DLL -- theme is "Research" Right now the DLL has a Divergence study (connects to any oscillator ) and this Optimizer is part of that DLL Probably will end up with 5-10 studies to help folks create signals and use optimizer to test their ideas You can go in the discord for free if someone wanted (called the channel research team) -- but the studies DLL is $250 (lifetime) fun fact, optimizer is 1800 lines of code and by the time I get phase 2 done...will be probably 3k lines of code is my best guess. |

I have a few different Dll's This is one is specific to creating signal and then use a analyzer to run it -- also analyzer can connect to any signal...does not matter if its another 3rd party or something used to create on your own with SC color condition studies or spreadsheets. I am making this one as I think it get be beneficial so priced it super low so its attainable for all and fair right now its a Divergence study that connects to any oscillator and the My other DLL's have one (trading method) and several other studies (over 20+) on those. . Just go in discord and look at the PDF's + premade chartbook using SC studies and custom studies... here is the link https://discord.gg/CdZ3UZK5 Once you're in, I'll have to override as I vet to make sure no bots come in before I open it up. Made several PDF's - but these are part of other DLL's - I really want the research theme DLL to be separate and since many folks have ideas but are stuck on how to write alerts, my goal is to write just those studies to help them connect to whatever studies and create signals no riff raff...I remove them right away. Only serious folks who actually trade / no degenerates |
