Frozen chart during Chart replay

Hey!
I would like to backtest my strategies, but when I use the Chart replay functionality and I try to change the barperiod/timeframe, sometimes(1 of 10) one of the chart freezes.
In my case it keeps showing the "Loading" state until I exit from Chart replay.
This state does not have unusually high CPU or memory usage, so I assume it does not load endless amount of data.

Very hard to say what the problem is. And when you are using Wine, it adds further complications. Not sure how we can help with this.

Alright, trying to find other way.
Is it possible to start/pause chart replay by a study or any API-like connection?

Yes, this is available through a Custom Study. Refer to the following:
