Is it possible to not restore detached hidden windows upon restoring the main window? I am aware of the setting Minimize/restore detached windows with main window and i have set it to yes because i do need other detached windows to be restored. Just dont want the hidden detached windows to restore |

We just tried this to ensure how it works, and what occurs for us is that hidden detached windows are NOT restoring with the main window, regardless of the setting for "Minimize/Restore Detached Windows with Main Window". So this should be working the way you are expecting and we do not know why would not be. The setting "Minimize/Restore Detached Windows with Main Window" has to be set to yes because like i said i do need other detached windows to be restored. and if the setting is set to no : only the main the window minimizes and restores and nothing happens to the detached windows. the attached hidden window in my main window does not restore upon restoring the main window, but the detached hidden windows do restore upon restoring the main window. do you want me to make a screen recording and send it ? |

Hi, so i think the problem happens if that detached hidden window is on another monitor. So, I tried to make a new chartbook with two charts one attached and one detached hidden window, if the detached hidden window is on the same monitor as the main window then upon restoring - the detached hidden window restores for a quick second along with the main window and minimizes instantly. idk if that is normal behavior. whereas if that detached hidden window is on another monitor, then it just restores along with the main window.
