I have a question, if I open a long order on Sierra chart software and then I have something to do and close the Sierra chart software, will the Stop Loss and Take Profit orders of the long order that I didn't close still be valid? Will the Stop Loss and Take Profit orders automatically stop when the conditions are met? And why can't I see the stop loss and take profit condition orders in the web trading program, the software and the web trading program are interoperable.

In the case of Teton order routing, the answer is yes. Although we need to know the exact order types of these Attached Orders. Let us know.

Hi, normally my Stop Limit Order type is DAY by default, but I mostly use a 5-minute cycle, I would like to know if it makes sense for me to use DAY as my Stop Limit Order type? I'm concerned that my Stop Losses on my open orders are not valid after I close the software and during the period of time that the software is closed, am I to understand that any of my orders are running on Teton Order Routing?

You must set the Time in Force to Good till canceled:
Attached Orders: Time In Force

Otherwise, these orders are just simply going to get canceled at the end of the day. Do not take any chances with this. Use good till canceled.

am I to understand that any of my orders are running on Teton Order Routing?
Yes as long as they are not client-side managed orders:
Order Types: Fully Client Side Managed Orders
