Is it possible to turn off Historical data download when I enter a new symbol into chart? Time is money and I would like to see real-time price action right away on entering new symbol. I don't need historical data for my purposes. Thank you for answering the question. Igor. |

Go to Chart and Chart-Settings and Data-Limiting and set it to 1 or 2 days

The only thing you can do is reduce the amount of days to download: Data/Trade Service Settings: Reducing the Maximum Historical Intraday Days to Download >> 1-Tick Data Setting Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. If there are specific symbols that you are switching between, then you can setup the "Intraday File Update List" to have the data always being downloaded for those symbols. Refer to the following: Global Settings Menu: Intraday File Update List (Global Settings menu) For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
