Hello,

I ran into a issue with clear recent bid ask volume inactive time. I have 3 different treasury DOMs. I used to have a low value for this setting for all 3 DOMs but changed it to much higher recently.

I notice one of the DOMs still clear recent bid ask volume with old timer, and no matter what value I tried, timer remains the same. All 3 DOMs have the exact same setting under market depth - chart settings, and the other two have no issue accepting whatever new timer I put in.

I did the following troubleshooting:
open a new DOM for the same symbol, issue remains
upgrade to the newest version 2747, issue remains
open a new DOM for the other two treasury, no issue, but it does looks like this setting affect every DOM with the same symbol despite not being a global setting
open a new DOM for ES, issue! it doesn't care what value I put in, it clears out fast (I don't have another ES DOM open)
open a new DOM for the same symbol on a different copy of SC (v2732), no issue
save a new DOM for the same symbol from a different copy of SC (v2732) as a chartbook, open it on the current SC instance, issue remains
no issue in replay mode!

Am I missing anything here?

Thanks

Okay, I did another round of troubleshooting

Setting works on all symbol (treasury + ES) in replay mode.

Is it possible that this particular setting be cached on the server end ??

Your computer's clock may not be set accurately. Refer to the documentation here for this setting:
Chart Settings: Clear Recent Bid Ask Volume Inactive Time in Milliseconds (Chart >> Chart Settings >> Market Depth menu)

Enabling NTP client makes it worse. Now 2 out of 3 treasury DOMs wouldn't follow value I put in. Setting in replay mode still works without issue.

At this point we are definitively not going to be providing any further help with this. The functionality needs to be considered unsupported if it is not working correctly in your case. We are not going to spend any further time on this. Consider the functionality simply unsupported.

We added this functionality, in response to user requests and it is implemented properly. If it does not work properly, consider it unsupported and unavailable. Simply do not use it.
