custom study toolbar buttons

hi, i would like to toggle a study on/off via a toolbar button. is it necessary to use programming i.e. "Advanced Custom Study ToolBar Buttons and Pointer Events" or is there a simpler way? i am not familiar with ACSIL.

Yes, something like this would have to be programmed. No other simpler way. But you can hide a study by right clicking along the Region Data Line in the Chart Region where the study is located and selecting the Hide command.
