wondering if anyone else experiences this since the last couple of updates. merging a profile with the next one does not always work out first try. It seems I can not be anywhere within the first profile with the mouse, but it needs to be rather at the beginning of the tpo. If I use merge beginn/end, almost always will also profiles that are left of my first one (so the one I click on to say "merge beginn") be part of the bigger merged profile. almost always. |

We just tested this and we are not able to reproduce what you are stating. Just to make sure - please update to the latest release (v 2744) as that is the version we tested on. Let us know if you continue to have issues after you update. For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

I am still experiancing similar issues. Right now I was with the mouse-arrow on a profile and I did right click / Letters/Blocks in own columns. It would do that for an other profile like 10 profiles left of the one I was pointing on with the mouse. after several tries and changing position within the profile it did it for the right one...

If you have an issue like this, then turn on the Crosshairs and make sure that the crosshairs are aligned properly with the pointer. Let us know what you see in this situation.

Are the crosshairs always properly aligned with the cursor?

There should not be an issue with this. We asked about the crosshairs, as when we have heard about items like this, it was an operating system issue where the pointer was not aligned properly (it sounds impossible, but it was the case). We are curious, when you select a profile, are you getting an outline around it and is that outline showing in the correct profile? What is the symbol of the chart? We want you to fully re-download the data in the chart and check for out of order data: Re-download all the data in the chart by going to the chart and selecting "Edit >> Delete All Data and Download" from the main Sierra Chart menu. You just need to do this once per symbol and not for each chart. This command is on the main Sierra Chart menu at the top. Only use it from that location. No I have never ever seen an outline arround a profile (we are all talking about TPO profile chart study, right?). NOW I AM CURIOUS :-). I never had those issues before my (not versions dont update each) last 3-4 updates or so. Also not that this happens always, just sometimes. Sometimes more often sometimes not, I can though live with it.... just to have said that... it is happening on the mini Dax. I did now delete all data and download (although Im pretty sure I have done that before out of different reason), I ll let you know in case it happens again. |

Attached is an image of a TPO chart with the right-mouse options up. The middle profile has a dotted line around it showing the selected profile. It's been awhile since this has come up and we nearly forgot that the reason it shows is that we have setup a keyboard shortcut for the TPO Profiles (there is a section specifically for this). That border will only show if you have a keyboard shortcut setup, so that you know which TPO Profile you are acting upon.
