What is the difference between - Recent Bid Volume - Current Traded Bid Volume I want to see at current trading price how much volume traded on bid and how much on ask in their separate columns and refresh this manually or after a certain time period |

Refer to the following: Global Trade Settings Windows: Recent Bid Volume - Left/Center/Right Aligned Global Trade Settings Windows: Current Traded Bid Volume - Left/Center/Right Aligned For what you are stating, you would want the "Current Traded Bid Volume". Thank you for sharing this. I would like to confirm my understanding of the Recent Bid Volume and Current Traded Bid Volume columns on the DOM. - Recent Bid Volume accumulates trades at a price level as long as the price does not change. If the price moves away and comes back, it resets to zero unless it is within the time window set by Recent Bid Ask Volume Timeout. Additionally, if the "Reset Recent Bid/Ask Volume on Bid/Ask Change" setting is enabled, it resets whenever the best bid price changes. - Current Traded Bid Volume, on the other hand, continuously accumulates bid volume at each price level without resetting, unless I manually clear it (Trade >> Clear Current Traded Bid/Ask Volume on Chart DOM) or restart my data connection. It does not reset when price moves away and returns. Is my understanding correct that Recent Bid Volume refreshes based on price movement and settings, while Current Traded Bid Volume only resets manually or when reconnecting to the data feed? Thank you for your time. |
