FOREX does not use the "Currency Value per Tick". It is just the difference in price divided by the quantity.

Say you buy long at a price of 1.0585 and sell at a price of 1.0600 for a lot size of 10000. Your profit is (1.0600 - 1.0585) * 10000 = 15.00.

FYI: In FOREX the Tick Size is the same as the pip size. It is automatically set when you change symbols. |
