Does the Equities Footprint use trades or tick by tick data? If neither, what is the name / type of data being fed into the Footprint for equities? Also, what is the source of the data used by the Footprint? Date Time Of Last Edit: 2025-02-24 15:51:36

Data for the Numbers Bars study comes from actual trades. Therefore, this data will be affected by the "Intraday Data Storage Time Unit", which should be set to 1 tick if you are using the Numbers Bars study. Refer to the following: Data/Trade Service Settings: Intraday Data Storage Time Unit (Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Common Settings >> Common Settings) You can also use the Numbers Bars study to force this. Refer to the following: Numbers Bars: Require 1 Tick Intraday Data Storage Time Also, what is the source of the data used by the Footprint?
We are not sure what you are asking here. The data comes from whatever data source you are using. For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
