Good evening - I have attached 2 screenshots, one labeled 'DOM Good' and one 'DOM Bad'. The latter is my current DOM and I'm trying to figure out what configuration/setting change I need to make so that the Recent Bid/Recent ask stoers the historical values at all prices there when it was last traded there. I believe there is a setting to replace it when there is a new price there, and I have that set to 0 ms, but it seems like it's not storing the rest. I've tried looking for answers in other forum threads to no avail. Any information will be greatly appreciate. Thank you |

Hi, You have 3 settings to check to make sure the Recent Bid/ask collumns don't reset : - Global Settings => Chart DOM Settings => Reset Recent Bid/Ask Volume on Bid/Ask Change => NO - Global Settings => Chart DOM Settings => Recent Bid Ask Volume Timeout in Milliseconds => set it to a very high number like 10000000 - Chart Settings => Market Depth => Clear Recent Bid Ask Volume Inactive Time in Milliseconds => set it to 0 |

It sounds like you are wanting to use the "Current Traded Bid/Ask" columns rather than the "Recent Bid/Ask" columns. The "Recent Bid/Ask" columns reset the value at a price level when the trading moves away from that price and then moves back again. The "Current Traded Bid/Ask" columns do not reset, they continually accumulate. Refer to the information at the following two links: Global Trade Settings Windows: Recent Bid Volume - Left/Center/Right Aligned Global Trade Settings Windows: Current Traded Bid Volume - Left/Center/Right Aligned For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
