I have two formulas in two separate formula columns.

In the Study settings for the Spreadsheet, I selected the Arrow Up/Down draw style for the subgraphs that pertain to those specific formula columns.

The arrows do not appear. However, when I select the Background draw style, the Background does change when the formulas are true. Arrows appear for the Entry columns, but not columns O through Z.

My question: which draw styles are applicable to the formula columns O through Z?

Any of the draw styles are applicable, it's all about the data.

Our guess is that you are returning a True/False (1/0) result in those columns. As such, the arrow would be displayed at either zero or one.

If you want the arrow to be placed at some other "level" then you need the result to be that level. For example, if you want the arrow displayed at the High of the bar where the result is true, then you would to change your formula to look like the following:
=IF(condition, ID0.SG2@3, 0)

Where ID0.SG2 is the High of the Main Price Graph. Refer to the following regarding the @3 nomenclature:
