So I'm on Trial and imported data of a symbol to test out the software. Despite input name "Period - Days to include" is set to 1 (Rvol Setting.PNG) and volume data are available, Relative Volume graph does not show all data points as seen in the attached picture (RVol Graph.PNG). First half of the graph is missing.

Is it a trial limitation or what am I missing here?

Thanks.

Look at Chart Settings - Data Limiting - Days To Load

It looks to me like your chart is only loading 3 or 4 days of data.

Days To Load is set at 30 (thirty) days by default. So that's not reason unfortunately.

There are limitations on the data while you are on a trial. Refer to the following:
Sierra Chart Trial Account

Given that you imported the data and are trying to display data from November 2024, then we can only say that this is probably related to being on a trial. We are surprised you are able to see any data from that time.

Hi John,

I understand the trial limitations as I've read them carefully several times to make sure.

November 2024 data was displayed because I only imported data to that point, and test period was only ranged from Nov 18 to Nov 27, as the expected behavior of Sierra Trial limitation. However, to eliminate any possibility of Nov 2024 data being the reason, I've imported data to the most recent date which is 10 Feb 2025, and Relative Volume still does not show the larger first half of its graph (see attached "RVol Graph 02.png"). All settings remain unchanged.

Meanwhile, you can see the Volume indicator is displayed in full. Theoretically, if Relative Volume is limited because of trial limitations, Volume should be too.

I've also attached 10 days sample data in "Date, Time, Open, High, Low, Close, Volume" format (1Min), just in case you want to try it out (see "Intraday 1Min DTOHLCV.csv")

Would be thrilled to get this sorted out.

Thank you.

Set the Input for "Minimum Required Data for Day as Percentage" to "0". This should take care of it for you.
