I used to be able to use Zoom to control a Shared desktop, but no longer. I do have the paid version, so the meetings can last over 40 minutes. Matching Zoom versions don't help.

I don't want to pay TeamViewer's prices, as I don't do enough to justify $50/month.

Any suggestions?

We do not understand exactly what the problem is. Sierra Chart also has remote control functionality built-in. We are still making improvements to it, but it is part of chat. Under the Remote menu of the chat window.

We still have to write documentation for this.

We did develop the functionality to control another instance of Sierra Chart under your own username. We have to do some testing of that functionality.

I see Remote Control settings, but I don't know what I need to do, nor what the client needs to do to enable it.

This would be nice.

Here is the documentation:
Chat and Communications Platform: Using Screen Sharing and Remote Control

We still are working on, video frame flow control control, in order to minimize/eliminate video frame lag. But if the network connections are good, there should not be an issue.

And we are working on direct peer to peer connectivity. Right now it goes through a central server. We also see sometimes issues, where the control, alternate , or shift key state gets locked on the side being controlled. In this case, on the remote side just press the key momentarily, that is in a locked state.

And most importantly update to the latest version of Sierra Chart!:

This still needs some more work:

So it is not ready yet.
