There is no issue with this related to Sierra Chart itself. You will want to install Sierra Chart on both computers and then you can run the software from whichever location you are at. Just keep in mind, the Sierra Chart information is all stored locally, so if you are working with a certain chartbook at the office, that same chartbook will not be available on the system at home, unless you specifically copy it. So if you are wanting to be able to work from the exact same chartbook in both locations, you will need to remember to copy the chartbook and move it between the computers. Just do NOT run Sierra Chart with the data file pointing to a shared drive, due to the amount of data reading and writing this does not work well. Right now, you are not setup to get any data from us, so you do not need to worry about the exchange rules on accessing the data. Just keep in mind that if you do add the Denali Exchange Data Feed, then you will need to keep this in mind. Refer to the following: Denali Exchange Data Feed: Denali Exchange Data Feed on Two Computers Simultaneously And finally, if you are using Rithmic for your trading service, then you will not be able to connect to the same account from both systems simultaneously. For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
