Volume by Price Study Shows Up Prior to Pre-set Time

When Volume by Price study is set to show accumulation of volume by price based on "Volume Graph Period Type" selected to "One Period from Start Time to End Time" with a specific time set, it shows volume accumulation even prior to that set time. I imagine that if I specify time to 9am for example, the VBP profile will either not show up at all or show up but with no volume accumulated, until 9am. https://www.sierrachart.com/image.php?Image=1738602199793.png |

What you are seeing is the previous period's data. That previous period will continue to display until the new period starts.

Why is the previous period's data in the period that has not started yet? Also, I do see that the data in the period that has not started yet does not correspond the previous period exactly. Can you please fix this? Also, is there a way to have the period only appear when the selected time starts?

Why is the previous period's data in the period that has not started yet?
Let's say it's Tuesday at 10:00 and you have your Volume by Price profile set to display the data from 09:00 to 12:59:59. The Volume profile is going to continue to build up as the day rolls on. At 13:00:00 the buildup is going to stop, but the profile itself is going to stay displayed on your screen as it is. On Wednesday at 09:00:00 the profile will "disappear" and start building up again. Also, I do see that the data in the period that has not started yet does not correspond the previous period exactly.
Why do you say this? What are you seeing? Please get us images of what you see and an explanation for why you state this.
