Hello, in the pictures you can see my settings for the ‘Numbers Bars Study’. I can set the colours for the ‘Fullbackground’ option with ‘Volume actual’. I would like to adjust the colour to the visible area. For example: I want the maximum volume in the visible area on the tick to be displayed in red. How can I implement this? The colour should depend on the visible area of the chart. Thank you https://prnt.sc/qB29mbv0DClU https://prnt.sc/pz2q1LclRHHL https://prnt.sc/0rcJt0zQ5Icy |

What is the Input for "Column 1 Background Coloring Method" set to? And if you are only displaying a single value/bar for each level ("Column 1 Background Type" set to "Full Background") then why choose one of the "Separate" coloring methods? This was an alternative I chose because I didn't know how else to categorise the colours. So I made the colour dependent on the seperate volume on the bid and the ask. But I want to make it dependent on the visible area in the chart. https://prnt.sc/A5Nnv0fNuM3i Date Time Of Last Edit: 2025-01-30 18:32:53

What do you want the coloring to be based on: Total Volume, Bid Volume, Ask Volume, Dominant Ask or Bid Volume, or something else? Part of the problem you have is you are using an "Actual" values coloring. As such, you specify the actual values to define the color ranges, but if the maximum value in the visible area is not above the set Actual Value Thresholds, then you will not get a red color anywhere. You really should use one of the Percentage options, this way you are ensured that somewhere there is a value that will be colored red. If you can tell us what you want to see, then we can point you in the right direction. And "make it dependent on the visible area of the chart" is not what we are referring to. We mean what values are you wanting to base the coloring on and how do you want the coloring to work? You have a wonderful feature for the ‘Volume Profile’ option in the ‘Numbersbars Study’. If I select ‘Volume profile’ as ‘Background type’ and set the input 102 ‘Volume profile bar length relative to all visible bars’ to ‘yes’, the volume in the visible area is compared. The bar with the highest volume is the longest bar. This is exactly what I want to do with the colours in the ‘Fullbackground’ option. When I look at the chart, I want to use colours to see where the most volume has been traded. The colour should therefore be based on the volume.

We do not have what you are asking for. The closest we have is the following Input: Numbers Bars: Determine Maximum/Minimum Values for Coloring From For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
