TOPIC - CHEAPEST OPTION TO UPDATE PACKAGES TO GET REAL TIME NASDAQ 100 INDICES PRICES

Hello Sierra (Jan 2025)

BACKGROUND - I am currently on Sierra ‘Base’ Package 3. I trade only the NASDAQ 100 index. However, I find that the price difference at my broker (IG.com) and Sierra Charts is different by 15 to 50 pips, which is a lot when I am only scalping for 25 pips. I also have 2 computers running separately as I am teaching my family how to trade. I am not a professional trader.
I have read through the Support Boards and your help pages to try and determine if spending more each month and upgrading to Package 10 and / or the Denali Exchange will help adjust the difference I am getting in prices between broker and Sierra. I would also still like to use 2 computers as well. Other areas of your help pages suggest I also have to pay to other organizations like CME a monthly fee as well as upgrade to Denali / Package 10.

QUESTION 1 - What is the cheapest option I can undertake to get better aligned prices between Sierra and Broker trading NASDAQ 100 on (a) 1 computer and (b) on 2 computers?

QUESTION 2 - Other areas of your help pages suggest I also have to pay to other people like CME to get more accurate data. Is this still true if I upgrade to Denali / Package 10? If so, who would I pay to get NASDAQ 100 Indices data?

QUESTION 3 – Is the Symbol ‘NAS100’ the best to use to get prices near to real time? Or is there another Symbol you would suggest to use.

Thanks – Mark SB (UK)

If you want to use Sierra Chart to get prices that match IG.com, you are never going to have a solution. It is pointless to even try. Do not waste any further time on this.

You cannot do what you want. It simply is not supported. Our recommendation is to trade CME NASDAQ 100 futures instead.:

There are also the micro MNQ futures as well. You can use Teton order routing for this:

If you do not want to do this, then we have absolutely no solution for you. None. There is no solution at all to what you want. It does not exist.
