Number Bars Calculated Values Study Calculation error - Urgent.

Hi Support, I am using the Number Bars Calculated Values Study and not getting the correct representations. When i set the input 16 ( Determine maximum/minimumn values for background from ) to Daily data, the table does not indicate those maximum and daily values and as a result the display is not also accurate. I have attached the table of the values for NQ on 12/10/2025. Why is the Max Ask Vol-Bid Vol and Min Ask Vol-Bid Vol at 0 the entire time? This is clearly not accurate. Please let me know how soon this can be fixed because it is impacting the entire study. Thank you. |

We do not see an issue with the Numbers Bars Calculated Values doing what you are stating. If you set the option for "Determine Maximum/Minimum Values for Background From" to "All Data" do the values for the "Maximum Ask Vol - Bid Vol" and "Minimum Ask Vol - Bid Vol" display correctly? Is there anything you can specifically pinpoint as to when those items show as all zeros and what you are changing that makes them show up as all zeros? Hi John, thanks for taking a look. I have changed the setting to all data and the values still show 0. I am attaching the screenshot and a link to the image on sierra. Without this calculation, the number bars cannot be accurate. Are you able to show me a screenshot of yours where the max and min data values are showing correctly along with the settings you have on an ES futures contract? Attached is an image of what we see for ESH25 using the same Inputs as you have for the Numbers Bars Calculated Values study. It is very odd that you are gettting zeros for these values. What is "Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Common Settings >> Intraday Data Storage Time Unit" set to? Hi John,thanks for helping with the troubleshooting. I did check in the number calculated bars main setting and it appears the problem was that the study was based on the number bars study in the study list rather than the main price graph. Once i changed the reference it all got fixed. Problem solved. You guys are very helpful. Thanks!!!
