Good morning SC I have a VBP study, timed to begin from 18:00:00 EST-17:59:59EST. I need to reference the "previous days" levels, ie VAL/VAH/POC Please see attachment for clarity. PS; i have tried inputting "1" into Number of days back to reference, but when i apply, it defaults back to 0. i tried using an alert condition; for example =CROSSFROMBELOW(C,ID0.SG1[-1]), however this only refers to the present day, ie from the start time of 18:00 I also tried: =AND(BARDATE = BARDATE[-1] - 1, BARTIME < TIMEVALUE("18:00:00"), CROSSFROMBELOW(C, ID38.SG4)) to no avail. Please shed some light/ assistance on how i can achieve this please? |

If it is not letting you change the "Number of Days Back to Reference" then your selection of the "Volume Graph Period Type" must be one that does not allow this. But, it really does not matter, as you are wanting to reference the Previous VAL/VAH/POC and you can not get those values directly from the Volume by Price study. Instead, you will need to use the "Volume Value Area Lines" study and set it to reference one day back. Refer to the following: Volume Value Area Lines You can then use the subgraphs from the "Volume Value Area Lines" study for your Alert condition.
