Hello, I have Mac Air w M1 chip and verified I have 64 bit operating system. When downloading it getting an error saying " Error saving downloaded files to local system. Stop install and try again." Need assistance getting downloaded. Any tips or direction? Any assistance is greatly appreciated! Thank you |

Sierra Chart is only built for the Windows Operating System. To run Sierra Chart on a MAC you would need an emulator. There are several threads on running Sierra Chart on a MAC on this Support Board. You can search and see what others have done or ask further questions. I downloaded Parallel to run the software, which is same platform my friend utilizes to run his sierra charts. Is that only compatible with certain Mac's. Thanks |

You need to create a Virtual Machine in Parallels based on Windows 11 for ARM: https://kb.parallels.com/125375/ Then install Sierra Chart: Software Download: Installation and Upgrading Instructions The SierraChart_ARM64.exe is the file built for Apple Silicon. The SierraChart_64.exe will probably run as well, but it will have worse performance, and could have other issues. |
