Hello, i'm a bit lost regarding how the data feed works in Sierra Chart. I have live accounts on tradovate and apex funded tradovate accounts where i only use to trade cme futures NQ and ES on Ninjatrader or tradovate. If i want to trade on the Sierra chart platform; do i need for example a funded rithmic account from apex and then the real time data feed which is included on my funded account is enough or do i still need the Denali feed to have the proper market data feed?

We no longer support data from Rithmic, so in order to get the CME Group data, you would need to get the data from our Denali Exchange Data Feed. This also means that you need to have a live, funded, futures trading account in order to get the real-time data at the non-professional rates. Refer to the following for this: Denali Exchange Data Feed: Understanding and Accessing Data From the CME, CBOT, NYMEX, COMEX Exchanges For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

Thank you for the quick feedback. Would you recommend going for the live account of 100USD that was suggested here to get acces to the needed data at first, since i would like to backtest a bit with the platform for example and not trade live with it? And if i read correctly historical cme, data feed is included in the packages and only for live real time data i would need the denali feed sub?

If you are doing backtesting and not trading live, when we recommend using our Delayed Streaming Data, which is included with all packages at no cost. This data acts like real-time data only is delayed by 10-15 minutes (depending on exchange). Refer to the following: Delayed Exchange Data Feed Otherwise, if you do want the real-time data, then the best option is what is described at the following link: Easy Solution to CME Funded Trading Account Requirement In either case, you will get the historical data. For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

Oh ok perfect, i will then start with some backtesting included in the packages and then opt for the option you just linked. Thank you for your time and have a nice day :)
