Dear Support Team I work with “Spreadsheets for Trading” I would like to create a short cut or even better a customize control bar button with the following parameters for automated trading: Short trades only Long trades only Both (long and short) Is there a way to do this? |

We are not understanding what you are wanting to do exactly. What would a Control Bar button for "Short Trades Only" do?

I have included trading signals for long and short positions in my “Spreadsheet for Trading”. However, depending on the market situation, I would like to decide manually that only long or short signals or both are executed. The easiest way would be a control button that I can pass to the spreadsheet with the appropriate instructions: Execute: only Long only short Both |

To do this, you would need to create a Custom Study that captures the Control Bar Button action and then puts the appropriate information into your Spreadsheet Study, where you can use it to force the decision you are wanting. Refer to the following Documentation: ACSIL support for control bar buttons: Advanced Custom Study Interaction With Menus, Control Bar Buttons, Pointer Events ACSIL, interaction with spreadsheet sheets: ACSIL Programming Concepts: Direct Programmatic Interaction with Spreadsheet Sheets For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
