i have a second instance open for my execution but i just noticed that one of the overlay study is different from my execution instance. i look at the chart that referencing the study and compare it to the 1st instance and found out that the Daily SMA levels are different. i tried to look at the chart settings and make them the same but the study is still at different levels. |

already checked that and all the chart settings are the same. i still cant find why the levels are different. the only difference i see are the data loaded. but i cant make the second one load more data like the other. the chart settings are already the same. |

How is that 100 SMA put on those charts? Is it a Moving Average study applied directly to the chart or is it a Study/Price Overlay from another chart? What exactly is different in the loaded data between the instances? it was applied directly to both charts. i dont think i can overlay coz the other chart is on the second instance. the difference is the SMA levels are not the same levels. Maybe because the second instance chart has not enough data like the first one but the chart settings are the same so i dont know why the second chart is not loading more historical data |

What is the first date showing in both charts (if you scroll all the way to the left, what is the date of the first bar)?

on the first instance, the chart goes way back to 2019 while on the second instance, the last date was just around 2024. i even dont know why the first chart is displaying that long of historical data even tho set up the chart to load 84 days of data |

The SMA levels are different due to the difference in the loaded data. In the instance where the data only goes back to September 23, 2024, please make that chart active and select "Edit >> Delete All Data and Download". A window will come up asking what contracts you want to delete and redownload the data, select the button at the bottom for "Select All" and then select OK. Let us know if this does not resolve the issue. For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
