I installed sierra charts and the screens say "downloading continuous contract data". and it has been like that for several hours and the download doesnt seem to complete. How do I fix it? Attached screen shot.

Depending on how much data you are requesting, it can take a long time - even several hours. Has this resolved yet? If you are still having an issue, then please do the following: - Select "Edit >> Cancel All Downloads" to stop all the downloads for data that are occurring at that time. - Go to the chart for ESH25-CME and change the Chart Settings for the number of days to load to "5" and select OK to close that window. - Select "Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings" and select the "Common Settings" tab. Change the entries for the "Maximum Historical Intraday Days to Download" to be the following: -- Non-Tick Data: 31 -- 1 Tick Data: 31 - Select OK to close the Data/Trade Service Settings window. - Select "Edit >> Delete All Data and Download" with the "ESH25-CME" chart active. This will download a smaller amount of data. Make sure you get this in a reasonable time period (not more than 15 minutes). If you are able to get this data without a problem, then you need to consider how much data you were requesting when it is taking a long time. Be sure to change the settings for "Maximum Historical Intraday Days to Download" back to 186 for each entry.
