I have a random error that keeps appearing on chart using Daily OHLC study. It is for the SG4 line in the study - set to Prior Close for previous day (does not affect any other line in study). When I open the chart, the Prior Close line starts updating to the current price on the chart and the PC line then moves up and down in line with current price. I have tried changing settings / deleting and adding the study, the only way to get rid of it is to find a chart which does not have this error and completely delete any chart that has the 'constantly updating line'. Has been happening on/off for 3 months, and on different PCs. Can be fine for several days and then just starts randomly (not linked to version updates). Any ideas?

We do not understand the statement: "It is for the SG4 line in the study - set to Prior Close for previous day" What is set to "Prior Close for previous day" and how is this being done? In the OHLC study, subgraph SG4 is for "Close" - when I open my chart, instead of showing me the Close as a static line on the chart (in my case it would be set to the previous day's Close or 1 day back, hence I used term "Prior Close") - the chart shows the SG4 line moving up and down in line with the current price on the chart. All the other subgraphs for Open/High/Low (SG1/2/3 etc) are correct and static lines at the value for the previous day. It is just the SG4 / Close line that is not static - it somehow becomes a line constantly updating to the current live price.

How are you setting the study to use the previous day's close? Are you using the option for "Reference Days Back" set to "1"? Or are you doing something else?

Reference day back / Days to calculate both set to 1. It was all working correctly for many months.
