The general rules for Green versus Red candlesticks are the following: - Green/Up: Close is higher than Open - Red/Down: Close is lower than Open If the Open and Close are the same, then the color of the previous bar is used. The above can be changed to look at the Previous and Current Close values for OHLC bars.
